The GEPRC RAD VTX 5.8 GHz 2.5W represents the new generation of transmitters from GEPRC, engineered to deliver high output power in a compact form factor. Unlike the bulkier MATEN series, the RAD is designed for smaller builds and versatility, making it an excellent choice for mid-sized FPV drones where space and weight are important.

Operating in the standard 5.8 GHz band with 40 available channels (A, B, E, F, R, RaceBand), it ensures broad compatibility with popular FPV systems. With up to 2500 mW (2.5 W) of switchable output power (25 / 200 / 800 / 1500 / 2500 mW), it provides both efficient short-range operation and strong performance for long-range flights.

Supporting IRC Tramp and SmartAudio protocols, the RAD VTX allows pilots to remotely adjust frequencies and power levels directly via OSD or radio. A built-in cooling solution with thermal protection keeps the unit stable during extended high-power sessions.
