Matek Systems FCHUB-12S V2 Power Distribution Board (3S–12S)

Matek Systems FCHUB-12S V2 is a professional-grade, high-voltage power distribution board (PDB) engineered specifically for heavy-lift industrial, commercial, cinematic, and long-range FPV platforms. The standout capability of this board is its wide input voltage compatibility ranging from 3S up to 12S LiPo (up to 52V), making it an essential core component for high-power multirotor builds, including heavy X8-octocopter configurations (cinelifters).

The PDB is designed to handle immense current loads, safely supporting a continuous current up to 280 Amps (and up to 440 Amps burst), achieved through heavy-duty multi-layered copper traces within the PCB substrate. The FCHUB-12S V2 integrates a highly precise 440A current sensor, which routes accurate real-time consumption telemetry straight to the flight controller (FC). For peripheral hardware power management, it features dual independent switching voltage regulators (BECs): a 5V output at 5 Amps dedicated to the flight controller, RC receiver, and LED accessories, alongside a user-selectable 12V (or 9V) output at 4 Amps optimized for heavy video transmitters (VTX), cameras, or gimbal stabilization systems.

The hardware layout adopts a standard 30.5 × 30.5 mm mounting matrix and is meticulously arranged to contain electromagnetic interference (EMI) from main power lines, preventing sensor degradation or compass deflection.
